A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO 4 , 734 TO
CORRECT AN ERROR IN THE DESCRIPTION OF A TRACT
OF LAND IN THE LITTLE ROCK PORT INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT SOLD TO ATLAS TRANSIT, INC. ; AUTHORIZ-
ING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A
CORRECTED DEED IN FAVOR OF ATLAS TRANSIT, INC. ,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. WHEREAS , Atlas Transit, Inc. , submitted a bid to
purchase a tract of land in the Little Rock Port Industrial Park
for One Hundred Sixty-two Thousand Dollars ($162 , 000. 00) , which
offer was accepted by the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas , by Resolution No. 4 , 734 and;
WHEREAS , there was an error in the description of the said
tract of land as contained in the said Resolution No. 4 ,734 and
also in the Warranty Deed executed by the Mayor and the City Clerk
pursuant to that Resolution. The tract of land under consideration
is correctly described as follows :
A parcel of land located in the SE4 of Section 17 ,
T-1-N, R-11-W, Pulaski County Arkansas , more parti-
cularly described as follows :
Commencing at the SE corner of Section 17 , -1-N,
R-11-W Pulaski County, Arkansas , thence N 1 33 ' 49"
929 . 80 ' feet along the East line of Section 17 to
a point, thence N 89°47 ' 08" W 242 . 14 feet to the point
of beginning, thence from the point of beginning
N 0°12 ' 52" E 786 . 13 feet to the point of tangency of
a curve to the left with a 50 foot radius , thence
Northwesterly along said curve to the left 78. 50 feet
to a point on the South R/W line of Lindsey Road,
also known as Federal Old Secondary Route 1484,
thence N89°47 ' 08" W 1103 . 41 ' feet along said South
R/W line to a point, thence S 83°11 ' 10" W 90. 51
feet along said South R/W line to a point, thence
N 81 041 ' 54" W 60 feet to the intersection of said
South R/W line and the g of Old Fourche Bayou,
thence Southwesterly on a meandering line along the
g of Old Fourche Bayou 840 feet + to a point, thence
S89°47 ' 08" E 1525 feet + to the point of beginning.
Parcel contains 27 acres more or less .
SECTION 2 . In order to correct the erroneous land description
contained the the Resolution No. 4 , 734 this amended Resolution is
hereby adopted and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute for
and on behalf of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , a Corrected
Warranty Deed to Atlas Transit, Inc. as described herein and the
City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest said Deed and to deliver
it to Atlas Transit Inc.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after the time of its adoption.
