A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4 ,720
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A WARRANTY
DEED AND THE CITY CLERK TO ATTEST TO THE SAME
TO DEMOCRAT PRINTING AND LITHOGRAPHING COMPANY
AND/OR DEMOCRAT REALTY COMPANY; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , the Little Rock Port Authority pursuant to authority
granted to it has accepted an offer of the Democrat Printing and
Lithographing Company and/or Democrat Realty Company to sell to
said Company a tract of land located in the Little Rock Port
Industrial Park for a consideration of Six Thousand dollars per
acre ($6 , 000 . 00) . The exact acreage to be determined by a survey.
And, Whereas , a survey of the property reveals that the total
acreage in the plot to be sold contained 9 . 67 acres more or less.
The said plot of land is described as follows , to-wit:
A parcel of land located in the E-2 , SE4 , Section 17 ,
and the W2 , SW4 , Section 16 , Township 1 North, Range
11 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas more particularly
described as follows :
Commencing at the Southeast Corner of Section 17 ,
Township 1 North, Range 11 West; thence N 1°33 ' 49"
East 929 . 80 feet along the East line of Section 17 to
a point; thence N 89°47 ' 08" West , 142 . 14 feet to the
point of beginning; thence from the point of beginning
N 0 012 ' 52" East 786 . 13 feet to the point of tangency
of a curve to the right with a 50-foot radius ; thence
Northeasterly along said curve to the right 78 . 50 feet
to a point on the South right-of-way line of Lindsey
Road, also known as Federal Aid Secondary Route 1484 ;
thence along the South right-of-way of Lindsey Road
S 89°47 ' 08" East 454. 62 feet to a point; thence S 0°
12 ' 52" West, 836 . 13 feet to a point, thence N 89°47 '
08" West 504 . 62 to the point of beginning. Parcel
contains 9 . 67 acres more or less .
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock
hereby approves the sale of the said property to the Democrat
Printing and Lithographing Company and/or the Democrat Realty
Company for the condsideration aforesaid.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
is hereby authorized to execute a Deed conveying the property herein
described to the Democrat Printing and Lithographing Company and/or
the Democrat Realty Company and to deliver same to the buyers upon
payment of the sum of Fity-eight Thousand Twenty Dollars and No/100
Dollars ($58, 020.00) .
Section 2 . This Resolution shall 'be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
