A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF EARL
WHITWELL, JR. TO USE CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
WITHOUT CHARGE ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The offer of Earl Whitwell , Jr. allowing the
City of Little Rock to make use of , without charge , the following
described real property situated in Little Rock , Arkansas , until
January 1 , 1973 , is hereby accepted :
Part of the West 12 , SW4 , Section 9 , T-1-N ,
R-12-W, Little Rock , Arkansas , being more
particularly described as follows :
Beginning at a point25 feet West of the intersection
of the East line of the West %z , SW4 , Section 9 ,
T-1-N, R-12-W and the North Boundary line of platted
West 21st Street (Now west 20th street) , said
point being 645 . 0 feet south and 25 . 0 feet west of
the Northeast corner of the said West 2 , SW4; thence
West for 275 . 0 feet Deed (measures 274 . 1 feet) to
a point on the easterly right-of-way line of the
CRI & P Railroad; thence in a southeasterly direction
along the said right-of-way line for 339 . 7 feet;
thence in an easterly direction for 233 . 2 feet to
a point on the east line of the west 2 , SW4 , said
point being 983 . 5 feet south of the northeast corner
of the west z , SW4 ; thence north along the east line
of the said Westz , SW4 for 173 . 5 feet; thence West
25 . 0 feet ; thence north 165 . 0 feet to the point of
beginning, containing 2 . 11 acres more or less , said
parcel being subject to a 15 foot wide dedication
filed in Book 161 at page 148 , Pulaski County
Courthouse .
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
