A RESOLUTION PROVIDING DISABILITY RETIREMENT BENEFITS
TO TERRY G. SMITH, A FORMER EMPLOYEE OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, Terry G. Smith was employed by the City of Little
Rock on April 7 , 1969 and continued in said employment through
March 6 , 1972 at which time he voluntarily terminated same as a
result of a total disability sustained as a result of injuries
incurred in an automobile accident. Said disability is supported
by medical reports of qualified physicians ; and
WHEREAS , it is the desire of the Board of Directors to provide
disability benefits to the said Terry G. Smith in the amount of three
(3) months salary at his rate of pay effective on the date of his
termination.
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Terry G. Smith is hereby granted disability benefits
equating his salary applicable at the date of his retirement on March 6 ,
1972 , less withholding. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized to issue the necessary warrant or warrants in payment
of this said disability.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
