A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A BID OF MCGEORGE
CONTRACTING COMPANY, INC. TO ACQUIRE
CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A DEED TO SAID MCGEORGE CON-
TRACTING COMPANY, INC. CONVEYING SAID
PROPERTY AND THE CITY CLERK TO ATTEST
HER SIGNATURE THEREON AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO ACCEPT A
WARRANTY DEED FROM THE SAID MCGEORGE
CONTRACTING COMPANY, INC. TO OTHER
LANDS DESIRED TO BE ACQUIRED BY THE
CITY_ OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the advertisement of bids by the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the sale or exchange of the following
described property situated in the County of Pulaski, State of
Arkansas, to-wit:
NE4 of the NE4, Section 26, T-1-N,
R-12-W, consisting of 40 acres more
or less .
The McGeorge Contracting Company, Inc . on February 4, 1972, entered
a bid to acquire the above described property by offering to convey
to the City of Little Rock by Warranty Deed title to other lands
lying in Pulaski County, Arkansas, to-wit :
W1/2 of SW4, Section 24, T-1-N, R-12-W,
consisting of 80 acres more or less
SECTION 2 . The bid of McGeorge Contracting Company, Inc, is
hereby accepted and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a
deed to the said McGeorge Contracting Company, Inc. The City
Clerk is hereby authcri7ed to attest to same conveying the 40 acres
described hereinabove to that company upon receipt by the City of
Little Rock of the Warranty Deed from McGeorge Contra ling Company,
Inc. , conveying to the City of Little Rock the 80 acre tract here-
inabove described subject to the approval of the City Attorney as
to the title of the said 80 acre tract .
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
