RESOLUTION NO. 4,755
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
REPAIR OF BULLDOZER; WAIVING COMPETITIVE
BIDDING; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , a TD-20B bulldozer owned by the City of Little Rock
and in use at the Sanitary Landfill is now inoperable and in need
of immediate repair; and
WHEREAS , Little Rock Road Machinery Company is the only
known supplier of parts for said bulldozer; and
WHEREAS, the circumstances concerning the need for repair
are so special and unique as to justify and merit the waiving
of competitive bidding in the repair of the bulldozer; and
WHEREAS , it has been estimated that repair costs will not
exceed $2 ,500 . 00
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. A contract for the repair of a TD-20B bulldozer
owned by the City of Little Rock and in use at the Sanitary Land-
fill , is hereby awarded to Little Rock Road Machinery Company.
Said contract includes parts and labor and shall not exceed the
sum of $2 ,500 . 00 .
SECTION 2 . The repair of said bulldozer is by the Board
of Directors determined to be an exceptional situation justifying
and demanding the waiving of competitive bidding for this repair
and said competitive bidding is hereby waived,

SECTION 3. Upon completion of the repair work to the satis-
faction of the Director of Community Development, the City Manager
and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed to
issue the necessary warrant or warrants , not to exceed $2 ,500 . 00
in payment of said contract.

SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
