A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH
BEN M. HOGAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR STREET
CONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENTS IN THE MODEL
NEIGHBORHOOD; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids received
pursuant thereto according to law for the construction of streets and
various improvements in the Model Neighborhood; and,
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bidder has been
determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors to award
a contract for the said construction and improvements to the lowest
responsible and responsive bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The lowest responsive and responsible bid on a
contract to construct streets and make various improvements in
the Model Neighborhood is hereby accepted and a contract awarded
to Ben M. Hogan Construction Company in the amount of $308, 661. 77.
SECTION 2 . The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant or
warrants as may be needed from time to time upon compliance and
in accordance with plans and specifications on file in the office
of the Purchasing Agent .
SECTION 3e This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
