A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF AN
APPLICATION TO THE STATE COMMISSION ON
CRIME AND LAW ENFORCEMENT (LEAA) TO FUND
THE COST OF SENDING NINE POLICE OFFICERS
TO TRAINING PROGRAM RELATED TO HIGHWAY
TRAFFIC SAFETY TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE
NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized, acting for
and on behalf of the City of Little Rock to make and file an application
with the State Commission on Crime and Law Enforcement (LEAA) for a
grant of funds in the amount of $7, 126.00 to be used to fund the cost
cf sending nine police officers to a training program conducted by
Northwestern University related to the Highway Traffic Safety Project.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
