A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT FOR
THE PURCHASE OF TRACTOR-LOADER-BACKHOE
FOR USE BY THE LITTLE ROCK PARKS AND
RECREATION DEPARTMENT; AUTHORIZING PAY-
MENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids received
pursuant thereto according to law for the purchase of a Tractor-Loader-
Backhoe to be used by the Little Rock Parks and Recreation Department;
and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bidder has been
determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors to authorize
the purchase of this machine from the lowest responsible and responsive
bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bid on a
contract for the purchase of a Tractor-Loader-Backhoe to be used by
the Little Rock Parks and Recreation Department is hereby accepted
and a contract awarded as follows :
One 45011K Ford 740 Loader, 745 Backhoe, Twin City Ford,
Inc. , P. O. Box 3265, North Little Rock, Arkansas in the
amount of $6, 585 .00.
SECTION 2. Upon delivery of the Tractor-Loader-Backhoe comply-
ing in all respects with the bidding specifications and bid proposal,
the City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the necessary warrant or warrants in payment of
said purchase price. Funds for the above referred to machine have
been appropriated in the 1972 Budget of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
