RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, SETTING THE DATE
OF HEARING ON THE CLOSING OF THE ALLEY NORTH OF
THE WRIGHT AVENUE BYPASS IN BLOCK 238, ORIGINAL
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock, on the 13th day of October , 1971 ,
asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon the alley North of
the Wright Avenue Bypass in Block 238, Original City of Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however to any public utitlity easements
located in said street. The alley to be abandoned is hereby described more
particularly as follows:
That portion of an alley lying North of the North
R/W line of the Wright Avenue Bypass within
Block 238, Original City of Little Rock, described
as follows:
Beginning at the NW corner, Lot 12 , Block 238 of
the Original City of Little Rock Run S 09° 17' 20"
E 64 .40 feet along the West line of lots 11 and 12
to a point on 5° 23' 17" curve to the right (North
R/W line Wright Avenue Bypass) said curve having
a chord bearing and distance of S 53° 26' 51" W
27. 70 feet; thence run along the arc of said curve
27 . 72 feet to a point on the East line of Lot 2;
thence run N 09° 17' 20" W 84.31 feet along the
East line of Lots 1 and 2 to the NE corner Lot 1;
thence run S 80° 40' 20" E 20. 00 feet to the point
of beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1 . The hearing on said request shall be held at the
meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P .M. ,
on the 7th day of December , 1971 .
SECTION 2 . The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such
hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for
two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and having general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
