RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS , SETTING THE
DATE OF HEARING ON THE CLOSING OF A PORTION
OF FERRY STREET LOCATED NORTH OF EAST MARK-
HAM STREET BETWEEN LOT 12 , BLOCK 3 , POPE'S
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND LOT
7, BLOCK 4, POPE'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS , a Petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock, on the 6th day of August , 1971 , asking the
Board of Directors to vacate and abandon a portion of Ferry Street located
North of East Markham Street between Lot 12 , Block 3 , Pope's Addition to the
City of Little Rock and Lot 7, Block 4, Pope's Addition to the City of Little
Rock in Pulaski County, Arkansas, said Addition being designated on a Plat
now appearing in Deed Book H at Page 30 , in the Office of the
Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any public utility
easements located in said street. A portion of Ferry Street to be abandoned is
hereby described more particularly as follows:
Property described in Exhibit "A" , attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1 . The hearing on said request shall be held at the meeting of
the Board of Directors in the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P.M. , on the
7th day of September 1971 .
SECTION 2 . The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such
hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two (2)
consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas ,
and having general circulation in the City of Little Rock.

Beginning at the SE corner of Lot 12, Block 3, Pope's Addition
to the City of Little Rock; run thence North along the East
boundary line of said Lot 12 to the NE corner thereof; run thence
East to the I\7W corner of Lot 7 , Block 4, Pope's Addition to the
City of Little Rock; run thence South along the West boundary line
of said Lot 7 to the SW corner thereof; run thence West along
the North right of way line of East Markham Street to the point
of beginning . (Same being also described as That portion of
Ferry Street located North of East Markham Street and between
Lot 12 , Block 3 , Pope's Addition to the City of Little Rock and
Lot 7 ; Block 4, Pope's Addition to the City of Little Rock) .
