RESOLUTION NO. 4,608
A RESOLUTION AMENDING IN PART RESOLUTION
NO, 4557 OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS ADOPTED
APRIL 19, 1971 PERTAINING TO A CONVEYANCE
BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY RIGHTS TO THE ARKANSAS BAR
FOUNDATION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , by Resolution No. 4557 adopted April 19, 1971, the
City of Little Rock authorized the conveyance to the Arkansas Bar
Foundation of that property situated in Block 99, ORIGINAL CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, originally platted as East-West alley within said
Block but reserving unto the City of Little Rock the sub-surface
rights in said land below the elevation of the top deck of the
underground parking facility to be constructed on said Block; and
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock
desires to amend Section 2 of said Resolution No. 4557 to authorize
a conveyance by Quitclaim Deed to Arkansas Bar Foundation of the
East-West alley situated in Block 99, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
of all the Cities ' interest in and to the said property with the
full understanding and upon the condition that the Arkansas Bar
Foundation shall lease to the City of Little Rock for a period of
99 years the sub-surface rights to said alley.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk acting for and on behalf
of the City of Little Rock are hereby authorized and directed to
execute a Quitclaim Deed of conveyance to the Arkansas Bar Foun-
dation of the property originally platted as the East-West alley
within Block 99, Original City of Little Rock, The consideration
for this conveyance herein authorized is a receipt by the City from
the Arkansas Bar Foundation of a 99 year Lease in favor of the City
to the Sub-surface rights of the property described and platted as
said East-West alley in Block 99, and Lots 4, 5 and 6, Block 99,
Original City of Little Rock, together with a 99 year Lease

Agreement in favor of the City of Little Rock to the property des-
cribed as a tract of land situated in the North-West corner of Lot 6,
Block 99, Original City of Little Rock measuring 35 ' East and West
and 21 ' North and South.
SECTION 2. Section 2 of Resolution No. 4557 is hereby amended
so as to be consistent with the provision of this Resolution
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
