A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE ASSIGNMEN' TO PUBLIC
BENCH ADS , INC. , OF THE BUS BENCH ADVERTISING
FRANCHISE PROVIDED FOR BY RESOLUTION NO. 2756
OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS ADOPTED NOVEMBER 6,
1961; AMENDING SAID RESOLUTION TO REGULATE THE
TYPE OF ADVERTISING PERMITTED; AND FOR OTHER
-=RPOSES .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTOR:: OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, AKRANSAS
SECTION 1. The assignment by H. L. Jones of the Bus Bench
Franchise granted by Resolution No. 2756 and adopted November 6,
1961 to Public Bench Ads, Inc. , is hereby recognized and accepted.
SECTION 2. Section 2 of said Resolution No. 2756 is hereby
amended to read as follows :
Section 2, The said H. L. Jones, his heirs and assigns, are
granted the permission to sell advertising space on the front and
back of such benches; provided, however, that no advertisement for
any alcoholic beverages will be placed on any portion of any such
bench in any zoning district having more restrictive provisions
than such provisions of the zoning ordinances as pertain to the
F-Commercial District.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
