A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
PURCHASE OF A CAB AND CHASSIS TO BE USED
BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant and according to law for the purchase of
one cab and chassis to be used by the Police Department of
the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
has been determined and it is the desire of the Board of
Directors to authorize the purchase of this item from
and by the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The lowest responsive and responsible bid on
a contract for one cab and chassis to be used by the Police
Department of the City of Little Rock is hereby accepted and
the Contract awarded as follows :
Item: nne Cab and Chassis
Successful Bidder: Bale Chevrolet Company
Purchase Price : $5 ,324 . 20
SECTION 2 . Upon delivery of the aforementioned item,
complying in all respects with the terms and conditions of
the bid specifications and bid proposal , the City Manager
and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed
to execute the necessary warrant or warrants in payment of
said purchase price.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
