HomeMy WebLinkAbout4510 RESOLUTION NO. 4,510 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH A CONSULTANT TO PERFORM A SURVEY OF ATTITUDES BETWEEN THE POLICE AND THE COMMUNITY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Board of Directors has authorized the City Manager to apply for federal funds to assist in making a Police-Community Relations Program; and WHEREAS, the City Board of Directors has verbally authorized on September 21, 1970, the City Manager to select a consultant and enter into an agreement with said consultant for professional services. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. A contract is hereby awarded to Management Computer Interlock, Inc. of 1455 Westloop South, Houston, Texas, for a survey of attitudes between the Police and the Community in the amount of sixteen thousand dollars ($16,000) in keeping with the specifications and bid proposal on file in the office of the City Clerk, the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute said contract for and on behalf of the City. SECTION 2. Upon completion of the work provided for by the contract herein authorized, satisfying in all respects the plans, specifications and bid proposal on file in the office of the City Clerk, the City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant or warrants in payment of said purchasing price as per terms and conditions provided for by said contract.
