A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CONVEYANCE BY QUITCLAIM DEED
OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, the Board of Conuuissioners of the Little Rock
Municipal Water Works , by a resolution adopted January 14, 1971,
requested the City of Little Rock to convey to Baptist Medical
Center by quitclaim deed the hereinafter described real property
upon which pipe line easements are held in the name of the City
of Little Rock, for the use and benefit of the Little Rock
Municipal Water Works ; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has determined that, in
exchange for the execution of said deed, the City of Little Rock,
for the use and benefit of the Little Rock Municipal Water Works,
has acquired from Baptist Medical Center other easements to
replace those which will be released under the terms of this
resolution, all of which is to the best interest of the public ;
Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of Little Rock,
Arkansas, are hereby directed to execute a quitclaim deed on
behalf of the City of Little Rock, conveying to Baptist Medical
Center the following described real property situated in Pulaski
County, Arkansas , to-wit:
1. The North 25 feet of the East 396 feet of the SWW
of the SEk of Section 3, Township 1 North, Range
13 West; ALSO the West 20 feet of that part of the
East 396 feet of said SW4 of the SEk lying North of
West Twelfth Street (Kanis Road) , which rights of way
were conveyed to the City of Little Rock by M & 0
Company, Inc . by an instrument dated April 23, 1970,
of record in Deed Book 1105 at Page 583 .

2. The West 25 feet of the South 409.2 feet of the
Wk of the W1/2 of the NEk of the SEk of Section 3 ,
Township 1 North, Range 13 West, which right of way
was conveyed to the City of Little Rock by Robert Wiley
Wilson and Lois Louise Wilson, his wife, by an
instrument dated May 7 , 1970, of record in Deed Book
1107 at Page 107.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage .
