A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE GRANT OF A ROADWAY
EASEMENT ACROSS CERTAIN LANDS OF THE LITTLE
ROCK MUNICIPAL WATER WORKS
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the Little Rock
Municipal Water Works, by a resolution adopted January 14, 1971,
requested the Board of Directors to grant to private property
owners a roadway easement across certain waterworks lands
adjacent to Lake Maumelle; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Water Works Commissioners and the
Board of Directors have determined that the grant of said easement
is in the public interest and will not be detrimental to the
Little Rock Municipal Water Works ; Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of Little Rock,
Arkansas, are hereby directed to execute an easement to Eugene
Newsom and Jamie W. Newsom, his wife, granting a road right of
way across the following described real property of the city
held for the use and benefit of the Little Rock Municipal Water
Works:
The W 2 of the NE k of Section 25 , Township 3 North,
Range 16 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
Section 2 . This resolution shall take effect and be in
force from and after its adoption.
ADOPTED: February 1 , 1971.
