RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS , SETTING THE DATE OF
HEARING ON THE PETITION TO VACATE ALLEY IN BLOCK
41 , JOHN BARROW ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS , a petition was duly filed with the Board of Direct-
ors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , on the ?°' day of
July , 19 7) , asking the Board of Directors to
vacate and abandon all of the alley hereinafter described in Block
41 of John Barrow Addition to the City of Little Rock, as designated
on the plat of said Addition now appearing of record in Deed Book
'" , Page , in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County, Arkansas , subject, however, to any public utility easements
located in said alley. The portion of the alley to be closed is des-
cribed as follows :
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 9,
Block 41, John Barrow Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas , thence
North 144 feet along the East boundary lines of
Lots 9, 8 and 7 of said Block 41 to the Northeast
corner of Lot 7 of said Block 41, thence East 10
feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 6 of said
Block 41, thence South 144 feet along the West
boundary lines of Lots 6 , 5 and 4 of said Block
41, to the Southwest corner of Lot 4 of said
Block 41, thence West 10 feet to the Southeast
corner of Lot 9 of said Block 41, the Point of
Beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held at
the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at 7:30
o 'clock p.m. , on the 5th day of October , 1970
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication
once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published
in Pulaski County, Arkansas , and having general circulation in the
City of Little Rock.
