RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING
ON THE PETITION TO VACATE A PORTION OF EAST SEVENTEENTH
STREET IN BLOCK 15,DODGE ADDITION AND LOTS 21 and 22,
MANUFACTURER'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS .
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 19th day of May
1970, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon such of
the East 17th Street right-of-way as lies between the East right-
of-way line of the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railroad Company' s
right-of-way and the West line of Lots 21 and 22, Manufacturer's
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, approximately
85 feet by 60 feet, in Block 15 of Dodge Addition and in Lots 21
and 22, Manufacturer's Addition to the City of Little Rock, as
designated on the plats of said additions now appearing of record
in Deed Books 2 & 1 , Pages 54 & 2'16 , in the office of
the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any
public utility easements located in said street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held at the
meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at 7:30
o 'clock p.m. on the 6th day of July , 1970.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice
of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication once
a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in
Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having general circulation in the
City of Little Rock,
