A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
TWO PARCELS OF LAND NEEDED AS RIGHT-OF-
WAY ON MISSISSIPPI STREET; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to proceed
with the acquisition from Lois G. Dabbs of the following parcel of
property to be used as right-of-way on Mississippi Street and pay the
sum of Nineteen Thousand Dollars ($19 ,000. 00) for said purchase to the
person or persons entitled thereto according to the opinion of the City
Attorney so as to vest full legal title to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas .
North 75 feet of Lots 12 and 13, Block 4, Riffel
& Rhoton' s Forest Park Highlands Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas .
SECTION 2. The City Manager is further authorized to proceed
with the acquisition from Mr. and. Mrs . James R. Abbott of the following
parcel of property to be used as right-of-way on Mississippi Street and
pay the sum of Twenty-two Thousand_ Five. .Hundred Dollars_ ($.22,500. 00). for
said purchase to the person or persons entitled thereto according to the
• opinion of the City Attorney so as to vest full legal title to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas .
South 75 feet of Lots 12 and 13, Block 4 , Riffel &
Rhoton' s Forest Park Highlands Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas .
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
