A RESOLUTION INMEMORIAM
OF FREDERICK U. ANDRES
WHEREAS, Frederick U. Andres passed from this life on
December 22, 1969; and
WHEREAS , at the time of his passing Mr. Andres was serving
in the capacity of Chairman of the Little Rock Municipal
Airport Commission where he served both as Chairman and
Commissioner since November 20, 1956; and
WHEREAS , Mr. Andres took great pride in the accomplishments
of the past and those planned for the future at the Little Rock
Municipal Airport for all of which he devoted unselfishly of
his time, talents and imagination; and
WHEREAS, his fellowmen remember him affectionately for the
enthusiastic spirit which he could so effectively generate and
utilize in every undertaking which he accepted.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. In recalling the life of Frederick U. Andres
which was enriching to everyone about him, we would note his
great spirit, pride, loyalty, integrity and dedication. His
passing creates a void in our lives. And yet, we are eternally
blessed in being privileged to share with his family and loved
ones his very worthwhile life.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
