A RESOLUTION INMEMORIAM
OF WILLIAM F . STEINKAMP
WHEREAS, William F. Steinkamp, former member of this
Board of Directors, died in Little Rock, December 16, 1969;
and
WHEREAS, a major part of the adult life of the said
William F. Steinkamp was unselfishly devoted to his fellowman
in public service which attributed unquestionably to the
advancements realized in all those areas in which he served;
and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors by this Resolution would
for his fellowman offer thanks for the life of William F.
Steinkamp.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. William F. Steinkamp found purpose for his
life in service to his fellowman. He gave his all unselfishly
and realized the great joy of giving. He was thus successful
in the real sense of the word. May we all use his life as a
beacon for directing our own and adjust our compasses accordingly.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
