ADDING A CONTRACT FOR VEHICLE LIABILITY INSURANCE ON
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK'S ROLLING STOCK; WAIVING
COMPETITIVE BIDDING; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. A contract is hereby awarded for vehicle liability
insurance on the City of Little Rock's rolling stock to East, Cashion &
East; said contract of insurance to be underwritten by Employers
Commercial Union Group for one year, with a $500.00 property damage
deductible at an annual premium of $39,183.00, said Policy taking effect
at 12;01 A. M., October 8, 1969.
SECTION 2. Due to the cancellation of the City of Little Rock's
existing liability insurance policy effective 12:01 A. M., October 8th and
the necessity of the City of Little Rock having adequate liability coverage,
an emergency exists and competitive bidding is hereby waived and a contract
awarded as stated in Section 1.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
