A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING APPRECIATION AND
GRATITUDE TO CARL HOPE AND COOPER JACOWAY
FOR SERVICE RENDERED AS CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS , Carl Hope and Cooper Jacoway on April 7,
1969 completed terms as members on the Little Rock Civil
Service Commission during which term they each gave
unselfishly of their time, talents and energy to the most
important public responsibility of providing personnel to
the various city departments; and
WHEREAS , it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to express appreciation and gratitude to the said Carl Hope
and Cooper Jacoway for this service.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
SECTION 1 . Sincere gratitude and appreciation is
hereby extended to Carl Hope and Cooper Jacoway for yeoman
public service as Commissioners of the Civil Service
Commission during a term ending April 7, 1969. May they
each recall this service with pride in a job well done; and
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
