A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A BEQUEST FROM THE
LATE CARL M. FLEMMING FOR USE AT WALKER
TENNIS CENTER: ESTABLISHING THE CARL
FLEMMING MEMORIAL TROPHY, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , the late Carl M. Flemming has willed to
the city of Little Rock Walker Tennis Center the amount
of $250. 73; and
WHEREAS , Carl M. Flemming fostered tennis in this
city by his avid participation and desire for others to
excel; and
WHEREAS , this Board desires to establish a trophy
in memory of Carl M. Flemming to be placed at Walker Tennis
Center .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1: The Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock proudly accepts the bequest of the late Carl M.
Flemming to the Walker Tennis Center and establishes the
Carl Flemming Memorial Trophy to be encased at Walker Tennis
Center.
Section 2: This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
