A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN
AMENDMENT TO A LEASE OF MUNICIPAL PROPERTY
TO T.A. FUZZELL FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION
OF AMUSEMENT RIDES ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the
City of Little Rock an amendment to that certain lease instru-
ment granting to T.A. Fuzzell certain lands in War Memorial
Park to be used in the operation and maintenance of amusement
rides and related facilities .
SECTION 2 . The amendment to said Lease referred to
in Section 1 hereof shall be in form and substance as follows :
Page 1 of the Lease Agreement executed between T.A. Fuzzell
and the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , on July 9, 1968, is
hereby amended by adding to the legal descriptions contained
therein "Description D, " which shall read as follows :
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the bath
house building; thence West 75 ' to the West
fence line of the swimming pool ; thence North
195 ' to the point of beginning; thence Easterly
along a line parallel with the pool 80 ' ; thence
Northerly 20 ' to a point; thence Westerly 60 '
to a point marked by an iron pin; thence South-
erly 21 ' to the point of beginning.
There is hereby added numbered paragraph (7 ) on
page 3 of said Lease Agreement as an additional covenant of
Lessee which shall read as follows :
(7) The Lessee agrees to maintain all property
hereinbefore described in a safe and attractive manner. Any
repairs necessary to preserve and maintain the appearance of
the leased premises shall be promptly done at the expense of
the Lessee.

The purpose of this amendment is only to enlarge
upon the provisions as contained in the original Lease
Agreement and shall in no way be construed to limit any other
section of said Agreement.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
