HomeMy WebLinkAbout4133 r RESOLUTION NO. 4,133 A RESOLUTION FIXING THE DATE AND PROVIDING FOR NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING ON A PETITION TO VACATE AND ABANDON THAT PART OF THIRTIETH STREET BETWEEN VALENTINE STREET AND MAPLE STREET INTERSECTING BLOCKS 10 AND 11 OF DICKINSON MILL ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS WHEREAS, 0. L. Hale and Basil Butler, Jr. have duly filed a petition with the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock on the 30th day of December, 1968 , asking that the Board of Directors close, vacate and abandon that part of Thirtieth Street between Valentine Street and Maple Street intersecting Blocks 10 and 11 of Dickinson Mill Addition to the City of Little Rock, and WHEREAS, the petitioners have properly designated that portion of the street and filed a photostat of the plat showing said portion together with the abutting block and lot numbers, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, in regular meeting assembled this 20th day of January , 1969, that the day for the hearing on this petition shall be February 17 1969 , at 7:30 p.m. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to give notice of the hearing by publi- cation once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper of county-wide distribution, the notice to state the names of the persons signing the petition, V , r the name of the portion of the street , the abutting lot and block numbers, and the day certain on which the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock will hear and determine whether Thirtieth Street between Valentine Street and Maple Street shall be closed and abandoned. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption by the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock and approval by the Mayor.
