A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS , TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE MISSOURI-PACIFIC RAILROAD CONCERNING CERTAIN
SEWER CONSTRUCTION UPON RAILROAD PROPERTY, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , its present sewer expansion project will
require the sewer line to cross certain property owned by
the Missouri-Pacific Railroad, West of Woodlane Street and
South of Lincoln Avenue in Little Rock, Arkansas ; and
WHEREAS , the Missouri-Pacific Railroad will require
a formal agreement concerning the construction of the
sewer line on its property;
NOW, THEREFORE :
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS , AS FOLLOWS :
1. That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, are hereby authorized to enter into
an agreement with the Missouri-Pacific Railroad Company
to perform certain construction work upon railroad property
and under railroad tracks West of Woodlane Street and
South of Lincoln Avenue.
2. That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has
funds on hand with which to pay the costs incurred by
it in carrying out its terms of said Agreement.
ADOPTED THIS 2nd day of December, 1968.
