A RESOLUTION GRANTING TO W.A. TUGGLE
DISABILITY RETIREMENT BENEFITS UNDER
SECTION 2-24 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, Mr. W.A. Tuggle was employed by the City
of Little Rock on January 6, 1944, and has been continuously
employed until September 1, 1968, and due to a physical dis-
ability is found to be entitled to disability retirement, to
become effective immediately, comprising a total term of
employment of 24 years, 7 months and 25 days .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized and directed to continue the salary
established for W.A. Tuggle as of September 1 , 1968, and to pay
to W.A. Tuggle monthly in the nature of disability retirement
benefits beginning immediately for a period of 24 months , 19
days and 4 hours , as provided by Section 2-24 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of. Little Rock, Arkansas, as amended.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
