3 A RESOLUTION TO CONFIRM THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE
4 BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF CENTRAL ARKANSAS WATER
5 THAT JOHN BRAUNE BE APPOINTED TO THE CENTRAL ARKANSAS
6 BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the term of Thomas Rimmer, a member of the Board of Commissioners of Central
9 Arkansas Water("CAW Board"), expires June 30, 2013; and
10 WHEREAS, by law it is the duty of the remaining commissioners to nominate and appoint a
11 commissioner when a vacancy occurs on the CAW Board, subject to confirmation by the Board of
12 Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and the City Council of the City of North Little Rock,
13 Arkansas; and
14 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock hereby confirms the recommendation by
17 the CAW Board that John Braune be appointed to a seven (7)-year term as a Commissioner on the Board,
18 and that his term of office shall be through June 30, 2020.
