A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED CONVEYING TITLE TO LANDS
COMPRISING THE NORTH-SOUTH ALLEY LOCATED WITHIN BLOCK
3 , ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS , TO THE
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE URBAN RENEWAL
PLAN FOR THE CENTRAL LITTLE ROCK URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT,
PROJECT NO. ARK R-12 .
WHEREAS , the provisions of the Urban Renewal Plan for
the Central Little Rock Urban Renewal Project , Project No.
ARK R-12 , provide for the closing of the North-South alley of
cated within Block 3 , Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas ,
in connection with the redevelopment of the lands in said Block; and
WHEREAS , by Ordinance No. 12,163 previously adopted this
date by the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas ,
the North-South alley was vacated, abandoned and closed; and
WHEREAS, said North-South alley comprises a portion of a
redevelopment site in said Urban Renewal Project, and accordingly
it is necessary for the Housing Authority of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas , to acquire fee simple title to the lands comprising
said closed alley, and the Housing Authority of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas , has requested a quitclaim deed from the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas , as to the lands comprising said closed alley;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas , be and they are hereby authorized and directed
to execute for and on behalf of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas ,
a quitclaim deed in the form of the instrument attached hereto and
made a part of this Resolution, by which all interest of the City

of Little Rock, Arkansas , in and to the lands located within
and comprising said closed alley are conveyed to the Housing
Authority of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , said lands
being more particularly described as follows :
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 1 , Block 3 ,
Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas; run thence
South along the West right-of-way line of the North-South
alley located within Block 3, Original City of Little
Rock, Arkansas to the Southeast corner of Lot 6 , Block 3 ,
Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas ; run thence East
along the North right-of-way line of East Third Street
to the Southwest corner of Lot 7 , Block 3 , Original City
of Little Rock,Arkansas ; run thence North along the East
right-of-way line of the North-South alley located
within Block 3 , Original City of Little Rock,Arkansas ,
to the Northwest corner of Lot 12 , Block 3 , Original
City of Little Rock,Arkansas ; run thence West along the
South right-of-way line of East Second Street to the
point of beginning. (Same being also described as :
All of the North-South alley located within Block 3 ,
Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas ; subject
however to utility easements set forth in Ordinance
No. 12 .16'3 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas .)
Section 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from the time of its passage.
