A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR WORK ON
CURBS , GUTTERS , DRIVEWAYS AND SIDEWALKS TO
CITY PROPERTY AND TO THE PARKING LOT AT FIRE
STATION NO. 17 ; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , invitation to bid was duly advertised and
bids received pursuant thereto according to law for construc-
tion of curbs, gutters, driveways and sidewalks; and
WHEREAS , the lowest responsible and responsive bidders
have been determined and it is the desire of the Board of
Directors to authorize contracts to have the construction
completed by the lowest responsible and responsive bidders.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIREC-
TORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bids
on contracts for the construction of curbs, gutters, drive-
ways and sidewalks to certain City property are hereby accep-
ted and contracts awarded as follows:

Construction of curbs and G. B. Malmquist $3,605.00
gutters for parking lot at Company
Fire Station No. 17
Construction and repairs Hardy Construction 6,999. 25
to curbs, gutters, drive- Company
ways and sidewalks adjacent
to certain City property
SECTION 2. Upon completion of the aforementioned con-
tracts complying in all respects with the bidding specifica-
tions and bid proposal the City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized and directed to execute the necessary
warrant or warrants in payment of said contract prices.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
