A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME FOR HEARING ON AN
ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING
MOHICAN VALLEY DRIVE IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS , AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas ,
asking the Board of Directors to vacate , abandon, and
close a road right of way located within the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas , and sometimes being described as
Mohican Valley Drive , and
WHEREAS, it appears from said petition that all
abutting property owners have signified their assent to
this closing by signing said petition;
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED, by. the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas :
Section 1. That the 2nd day of December
1968 , at 7 :30 o' clock P. M. , in the Chambers of the
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas ,
be the date and the time fixed for hearing upon an ordinance
providing for the vacating, abandoning, and closing of
Mohican Valley Drive located in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas .
Section 2. That the City Clerk of Little Rock,
Arkansas , give notice of suchIearing by publishing once a
week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published
in the City and having a general circulation in the City ,
stating in said notice that R. A. Lile , T. S. Lovett , III,
Ruth Welcome , Transportation Properties , Inc . , and Inter-
national Paper Company have filed a petition seeking to have

the hereinafter described road right of way, sometimes
known as Mohican Valley Drive , vacated, abandoned , and
closed :
A portion of a road right of way along
the East line of the Northwest Quarter
(NWk) , Section 27 , Township 2 North,
Range 13 West, Pulaski County , Arkansas ,
described as follows :
Commencing at the northeast corner of
the Northwest Quarter (NW4) of Section 27 ,
Township 2 North, Range 13 West;
Thence South 0° 28' 08" East along the
East line of the above described property
for a distance of 409 . 15 feet to the
Point of Beginning;
Thence continuing South 0° 28' 08" East for
a distance of 2241. 73 feet to a point , said
point being the southeast corner of the above
described tract;
Thence Nortn 88° 17' 38" West for a distance
of 20 .01 feet to a point;
Thence North 0° 28' 08" West for a distance
of 2543.84 feet to a point on the South
right of way line of Arkansas State Highway
No. 10;
Thence South 67° 10' 50" East along the South
right of way line of Arkansas State Highway
No. 10 for a distance of 43.54 feet to a point;
Thence South 0° 28' 08" East for a distance
of 285 .65 feet to a point ;
Thence South 89° 31' 52" West for a distance
of 20 .00 feet to the Point of Beginning;
and advising all persons that on the date named above the
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas ,
will determine whether said street shall be closed .
