A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT ON CUTTING,
SAWING AND STACKING CYPRESS TIMBER AT THE
CITY DUMP FOR USE BY THE PARKS DEPARTMENT;
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly authorized and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for the cutting, saw-
ing and stacking of cypress timber at the City dump; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bidder
has been determined, and it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to authorize a contract to have the work done by the lowest
responsible and responsive bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bid on
the cutting, sawing and stacking of cypress timber at the City
dump is hereby accepted and a contract awarded as follows:

SECTION 2 . Upon completion of the aforementioned cutting,
sawing and stacking of cypress timber at the City dump, complying
in all respects with the bidding specifications and bid proposal,
the City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the necessary warrant or warrants in payment of
said contract price.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
