A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING JACK D. DAVIS ,
CHIEF OF THE LITTLE ROCK FIRE DEPARTMENT,
TO EXCHANGE A RESERVE FIRE TRUCK WITH THE
ARKANSAS STATE HOSPITAL; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has a reserve
1942 model Chevrolet fire truck with a 500 GPM pump which
has now become obsolete; and
WHEREAS, the Arkansas State Hospital has expressed
a desire to trade to the City of Little Rock for the afore-
mentioned Chevrolet a series E 1944 Seagrave truck with a
750 GPM pump; and
WHEREAS, it appears in the best interest of the
City of Little Rock that this exchange be negotiated and
consummated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . Jack D. Davis, Chief of the Fire
Department of the City of Little Rock is hereby authorized
to exchange the reserve 1942 model Chevrolet 500 GPM fire
truck for a 1944 Seagrave 750 GPM fire truck with the
Arkansas State Hospital .
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full
force and effect from and after its adoption.
