A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE CHICAGO, ROCK ISLAND, AND PACIFIC
RAILROAD COMPANY CONCERNING CERTAIN SEWER CONSTRUC-
TION UPON RAILROAD PROPERTY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, its present sewer expansion project will
require the sewer line to cross certain property owner by
the Chicago, Rock Island , and Pacific Railroad Company, at
west
Mile Post 145, plus 2356 feet , 3 . 7 miles/of Pulaski, Pulaski
County, Arkansas ; and
WHEREAS, the Chicago, Rock Island, and Pacific
Railroad Company will require a formal agreement concerning
the construction of the sewer line on its property.
NOW, THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas , are hereby authorized to enter
into an agreement with the Chicago, Rock Island , and Pacific
Railroad Company to perform certain construction work upon
railroad property and under railroad tracks at Mile Post 145 ,
plus 2356 feet , 3 .7 miles west of Pulaski , Pulaski County,
Arkansas .
2 . That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , has
funds on hand with which to pay the costs incurred by it
in carrying out its terms of said Agreement .
