A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
AND THE LITTLE ROCK CITY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR A RESEARCH GRANT
WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, EDUCATION
AND WELFARE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, there is a need to improve the quality
and dissemination of laboratory results from the Milk and
Dairy Division of the Little Rock City Health Department to
producers, field men and inspectors which results can be
more effectively utilized to improve the quality of producer
milk supplies .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The City Manager and the Little Rock
City Health Department are hereby authorized to make appli-
cation with the Department of Health, Education and Welfare
for the purpose of obtaining funds through a Research Grant
to provide apparatus to be used in the electronic counting
of somatic cells in milk.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
