A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
AND DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO CONTINUE PAYING
TO THE CIVITAN CLUB OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK THE PROCEEDS RECEIVED BY THE CITY FROM
THE OPERATION OF THE TRAIN AT THE CITY ZOO;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors has determined that
the Little Rock Civitan Club has exerted considerable influence
to promote the Little Rock Zoo; and
WHEREAS , the Civitan Club has expended time and money
in the development of various parts of the Little Rock Zoo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized and directed to continue paying to the
Civitan Club the proceeds received by the City from the operation
of the train at the Little Rock Zoo.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
