A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND EXPRESSING
APPRECIATION OF ALL PERSONS (YOUNG AND OLD) ,
FIRMS , CORPORATIONS AND NEIGHBORING CITIES
WHO GAVE OF THEIR TIME, EFFORTS AND FUNDS
MAKING POSSIBLE THE ACQUISITION OF GIRAFFES
FOR THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL ZOO; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION to The Board of Directors, individually and for and
on behalf of all citizens, by this Resolution, commend and express
sincere appreciation to all those persons (young and old) , firms,
corporations and neighboring cities who gave of their time, efforts,
talents and funds, making possible the acquisition of two giraffes
for the Little Rock Municipal Zoo, one of which has already been
purchased and residing there.
SECTION 2. The addition of the giraffes to the Little Rock
Municipal Zoo will add immeasurably to the pleasuresof all citizens
and all citizens throughout the State are invited and encouraged to
visit the zoo and share in the enjoyment that such a visit brings.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
