A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO MAKE AND FILE APPLICATION WITH THE BUREAU
OF OUTDOOR RECREATION OF THE UNITED STATES
DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR FOR A GRANT OF FUNDS
TO BE USED FOR THE ACQUISITION AND DEVELOP-
MENT OF BIRCHWOOD AREA PARK CONSISTING OF
APPROXIMATELY THREE AND ONE-HALF ACRES ; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to make and file Application with the Bureau of
Outdoor Recreation of the United States Department of Interior
for a grant of funds to be used for the acquisition and
development of Birchwood Area Park in this City consisting of
approximately three and one-half (31/2) acres .
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
