A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR TWO PRE-
CAST CONCRETE SLAB BRIDGES TO ARKANSAS BRIDGE
STRUCTURES, INC. ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , invitation to bid for the construction and delivery
of two pre-cast concrete slab bridges in accordance with plans and
specifications on file in the office of the Purchasing Agent, have
been duly advertised and bids received pursuant thereto all in
accordance with law; and
WHEREAS , the lowest responsible and responsive bid received
was that of Arkansas Bridge Structures, Inc. in the amount of Three
Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Nine and 96/100 Dollars ($3, 559.96) and
it is the desire of the Board of Directors to award a contract to
said bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. A purchase contract is hereby awarded to Arkansas
Bridge Structures, Inc. for the construction and delivery, in keep-
ing with plans, specifications and bid proposal on file in the office
of the Purchasing Agent, of two pre-cast concrete slab bridges, one
each for use on Walker Street, between 30th and 31st Streets and at
24th and Dorchester Drive, at a total cost not to exceed Three
Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Nine and 96/100 Dollars ($3, 559.96) .
SECTION 2. Upon delivery of the bridges purchased in
Section 1 hereof, satisfying in all respects the plans, specifica-
tions and bid proposal the City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant
or warrants in payment of the said purchase price.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
