A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY?' MANAGER
TO MAKE APPLICATION WITH THE HOUSING AND
URBAN DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE FEDERAL
GOVERNMENT FOR A GRANT OF FUNDS TO BE
USED IN THE ACQUISITION OF 10 ACRES OF
LAND FOR THE SOUTH END PARK SITE IN THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to file an Application with the Housing and
Urban Development Agency of the Federal Government for a
grant of federal funds to be used for the purpose of
acquisition of 10 acres of land needed as a public park and
to be identified as South End Park.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
