A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPRAISAL OF A
CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND NEEDED FOR RAILROAD
RIGHT-OF-WAY PURPOSES TO SERVE THE PORT OF
LITTLE ROCK ON THE ARKANSAS RIVER; PROVIDING
FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAID PARCEL; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE I'1' RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF lHE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . the City Manager and Director of Finance,
in keeping with the recommendations of the Port Authority of the
City of Little Rock, are hereby authorized and directed to acquire
a certain parcel of land within the proposed railroad right-of-way
to serve the Port of Little Rock on the Arkansas River which parcel
is hereinafter set forth and identified by number. The parcel
shall be acquired for the price set opposite. The full legal
description and the approved appraisal shall now and hereafter
remain on file in the Office of the Real Estate Department of
the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2 . The parcel which the City Manager is here-
by authorized to acquire and the approved appraisal and purchase
price is as follows :

SECTION 3. The City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized to pay by warrant of the City of Little
Rock the above purchase price for the respective parcel of land
to the person or persons entitled thereto according to the
opinion of the City Attorney so as to vest full legal title in
said parcel to the City of Little Rock.

SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
