A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ACQUIRE A RIGHT OF ENTRY AND CONSTRUCTION
EASEMENT OVER, UPON AND ACROSS CERTAIN
PROPERTY ADJACENT TO WEST MARKHAM AND MISS-
ISSIPPI STREET AND OWNED BY C. v . BARNES;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to acquire a right of entry and construction easement
over, upon and across the hereinafter described parcels of
real property adjacent to the rights-of-ways for West Markham
Street and Mississippi Street which easement and right of entry
is needed in the construction, widening and improving of said
streets and for which the City Manager is authorized and
directed to pay consideration and damages in the amount of One
Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty and No/100 Dollars ($1,850.03)
to the person or persons entitled thereto according to the
opinion of the City Attorney:
A parcel of land situated in Wingate Private
Park, all in Section 2, T-1-N, R-13-W, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and more particularly des-
cribed as follows;
Beginning at a point 230 feet North and 30
feet West of the S .E. corner NE4 NE4 of
aforesaid section, thence S 8g032 , 40" W 12.8
feet to a point; thence N10°39 ' 34"W 40 .64
feet to a point; thence NO°27 ' 20" W 100 feet
to a point; thence N5°15 ' 18"E 50. 25 feet to a
point; thence N9°50 ' 27"E 10 .98 feet to a point;
thence N89°32 ' 40" E 13.04 feet to a point;
thence SO°27120"E 200.8 feet to the point of
beginning, containing 3685 sq. ft. , more or
less
and
A parcel of land situated in Wingate Private
Park, all in Section 2, T-1-N, R-13-W, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and more particularly des-
cribed as follows:
Beginning at a point 30 feet North and 225 feet
West of the SE corner NE4 NE4 of aforesaid
section; thence West 268 feet to a point;
thence North 12.7 feet to a point; thence
N70 42 ' 36"E 8.48 feet to a point; thence
N25°20 ' 46"E 21.02 feet to a point; thence

thence N80 54' 35"E 50.64 feet to a
point; thence N89°25 ' 37"E 50 feet to
a point; thence S73°49 ' 40"E 52.06 feet
to a point; thence S82°04' 45"E 23. 22
feet to a point; thence East 40 feet
to a point; thence South 10 .8 feet to
the point of beginning, containing 5333
sq. feet, more or less.
SECTION 2. It is understood and agreed that this
construction easement and right of entry will permit the City
to cause fill dirt to be placed upon said lands herein described
and terraced and graded so as to afford lateral support to the
new construction of West Markham Street and Mississippi Street.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
