A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO FILE APPLICATION WITH THE DEPARTMENT
OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT OF THE
FEDERAL GOVERNMENT FOR FUNDS TO ACQUIRE
AND DEVELOP A PARK AND RECREATIONAL AREA
ON APPROXIMATELY 8. 3 ACRES OF LAND SITUATED
AT 12TH AND BOND STREETS IN THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to file for and on behalf of the City of Little Rock
with the Department of Housing and Urban Development of the
Federal Government an application for Federal funds to be used
for the purpose of acquiring and developing a park and re-
creational area on approximately 8. 3 acres of land situated
at the intersection of 12th and Bond Streets in the City of
Little Rock.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
