A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
A PARCEL OF LAND FROM MARY D. PEARSON
CONTAINING 135 SQUARE FEET, MORE OR LESS
AND, NEEDED AS RIGHT-OF-WAY ON WEST MARKHAM
STREET; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF

DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1 . The City Manager is hereby authorized
to proceed with the acquisition from Mary D. Pearson of the
following parcel of property to be used as right-of-way on
West Markham Street at the intersection of Mississippi Avenue
and pay the sum of Fifty and NO/100 Dollars ($50 .00) for said
purchase to the person or persons entitled thereto according
to the opinion of the City Attorney so as to vest full legal
title to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas .
Part of the SE4, NE4, Section 2, Township 1 North,
Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, and more
particularly described as follows :
Beginning at a point, said point being 30 feet
South and 30 feet West of the Northeast corner of
the SE4j NEk, Section 2, Township 1 North, Range
13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas ; thence Southerly
along the West right-of-way line of Mississippi
Avenue 25.0 feet to a point; thence Northwesterly
along a curve to the left, whose radius is 25.0
feet and chord length is 35 . 35 feet, a distance of
39. 27 feet to a point on the South right-of-way line
of West Markham Street; thence Easterly along said
South right-of-way 25.0 feet to the point of be-
ginning, and containing 135 square feet, more or less.
SECTION 2. The amount of the purchase price herein
provided has been appropriated by Ordinance No. 12,068
passed May 6, 1968.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
