R E S O L U T I O N NO. 3, 9 7 1
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE AN EASEMENT DEED TO LANDS WHEREIN THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, IS THE GRANTOR AND THE ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY
COMMISSION IS THE GRANTEE.
WHEREAS, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/100
Dollars, ($1.00) , it is desirable that the City of Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, convey by Easement Deed lands in Pulaski
County, Arkansas, for highway purposes, to the Arkansas State
Highway Commission.
The lands as recited in Pulaski County, Arkansas, are described
as follows, to-wit:
Being a part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of
Section 32, Township 1 North, Range 12 West, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, more particularly described as follows :
Starting at the Northwest Corner of the Northeast Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter of Section 32; thence South 2° 59' West along
the West line thereof a distance of 1120.04 feet to a point on the
northerly existing right of way line of Interstate 30; thence east-
erly along said existing right of way line on a curve left, having
a radius of 5529 .58 feet a distance of 123.53 feet to a point on
the northerly proposed right of way line of Interstate 30 for the
point of beginning; thence North 70° 28' East along said proposed
right of way line a distance of 229 .6 feet to a point; thence North
78 11' East along said proposed right of way line a distance of
212.7 feet to a point on the northerly existing right of way line
of Interstate 30; thence South 21943' West along said existing
right of way line a distance of 48 .6 feet to a point; thence west-
erly along said existing right of way line on a curve right, having
a radius of 5529 .58 feet a distance of 413.6 feet to the point of
beginning and containing 0.30 Acre .
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute for
and on behalf of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and the City
Clerk is authorized and directed to attest the recited Easement
Deed to the Arkansas State Highway Commission.
Upon the execution of the Easement Deed referred to, the City
t.
Clerk of Little Rock, Arkansas, is hereby authorized and directed
to deliver same to the Arkansas State Highway Commission.
This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption .
