A RESOLUTION AWARDING PURCHASE CONTRACTS FOR
CERTAIN ITEMS OF EQUIPMENT TO BE USED BY
VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitations for bids for the purchase by
the City of certain items of equipment to be used by various
departments of the City have been duly published and bids re-
ceived pursuant thereto all in accordance with law; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bids
for the various items of equipment to be purchased have been
determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors to
award purchase contracts to said bidders.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Purchase contracts are hereby awarded for
the purchase of equipment to be used by various departments of
the City government from the lowest responsible and responsive
bidders all as set forth below and for the prices as listed:
PURCHASE PRICE

2 - 4 wheel industrial type tractors
with front end loader and back hoe Loveless Equipment
to be used by the Street Department Company, Inc. $13,036.09
1 - 4 wheel drive pneumatic tired
tractor shovel for use by the Little Rock Road
Street Department Machinery Company 13, 143. 13
1 - 7 gang fairway mower for use
by the Parks Department Capital Equip. Co. 1,622.25
1 - 4 wheel gasoline driven turf
tractor for use by the Parks Mid-State Tractor
Department Company, Inc. 2, 866.81
1 - 3 wheel gasoline driven turf
tractor for use by the Parks
Department Capital Equip. Co. 2,142.91
SECTION 2. Upon receipt of the hereinabove identified
items of equipment complying fully and in all respects with the

specifications and 'yid proposal on file in the office of the
Purchasing Agent, the City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant
or warrants in payment of the sa d purchase prices to the said
successful bidders.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
