A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR THE PURCHASE
OF MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY VARIOUS
DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation to bid for the purchase by the City
of certain materials and equipment has been duly advertised and
bids received thereon in accordance with law; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bids for
the various items of material and equipment have been determin-
ed; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors to
award purchase contracts for said items to the lowest responsible
and responsive bidders therefor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Purchase contracts are hereby awarded to the
following persons, firms and corporations for the items of mater-
ial and equipment listed opposite at the prices also shown:

*All these prices reflect a five (5/) percent discount.

SECTION 2 . Upon receipt of the hereinabove identified
items of material and equipment complying fully in all respects
with specifications and bid proposals on file in the office of
the Purchasing Agent, the City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant
or warrants in payment of said purchase price.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
