A RESOLUTION IN COMMEMORATION OF
RAY WINDER
WHEREAS, Ray Winder, the friend and brother of everyone,
departed this life on Friday, July 14, 1967; and
WHEREAS, this Board of Directors individually and
collectively for and on behalf of the citizenry of this
community and to commemorate his memory would with saddened
hearts acknowledge the joy that is ours for having been a
part of Mr. Winder' s world.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. He was kind , compassionate, humble, wise
and a 400 hitter in the game of life. Such was our friend
and brother, Ray Winder. Our hearts are saddened in his
passing and yet there is joy for each of us to have had the
pleasure and privilege of companionship and fellowship with
this honorable man. We are all the beneficiary of an in-
valuable bequest, the formula of living a good life ever
exemplified by Mr. Winder.
SECTION 2. The Board of Directors express their heart-
felt sympathy to Mrs. Winder and other members of the family
in their bereavement.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
